ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਲੱਗੇ ਸ਼ਰਾਬ ਨਾਲ ਰੱਜ ਕੇ ਚਮਕੀਲੇ ਦੇ ਗਾਣਿਆਂ ਤੇ ਲਾਏ ਠੁਮਕੇ

ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਨਗਰੀ ਅਨੰਦਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਹੱਦ ਅੰਦਰ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਵਲੋਂ ਸ਼ਰਾਬ ਪੀ ਕੇ ਜਸ਼ਨ ਮਨਾਉਦਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਵੀਡੀਓ ਵਾਇਰਲ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। ਜਿਸ ਵਿਚ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵਾਲੇ ਸ਼ਰਾਬ ਪੀ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਚਮਕੀਲੇ ਦੇ ਗੀਤਾਂ ਤੇ ਠੁਮਕੇ ਵੀ ਲਗਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਵੀਡੀਓ ਦੇ ਵਾਇਰਲ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਲੋਕ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੀ ਇਸ ਹਰਕਤ ਦੀ ਨਿੰਦਾ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇੱਕ ਤਾਂ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਸ਼ਰਾਬ ਪੀ ਕੇ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਦੂਜਾ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਹੋਣ ਕਰਕੇ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਹਰਕਤ ਨੂੰ ਗਲਤ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।

Eight policemen and home guard jawans, including Anandpur Sahib police post in-charge, have been placed under suspension for consuming liquor in the police post. The incident came to light after a video that showed the cops consuming liquor went viral on WhatsApp.Those suspended are: Police post in-charge ASI Raghbir Singh, head constable Jujhar Singh, head constable Rattan Singh, head constable Paramjit Singh, head constable Gurnam Singh, constable Tejinder Singh, home guard jawan Gurmeet Singh and home guard jawan Majhail Singh. The video shows all of them consuming liquor and singing in the Anandpur Sahib police post.Rupnagar senior superintendent of police (SSP) Raj Bachan Singh Sandhu confirmed that the policemen had been consuming liquor in the police post on Diwali night and had prepared video of the same, which went viral on social media. Police post in-charge Raghbir Singh was suspended for “loose control at the police post”, which led to the incident.Raghbir Singh said that he was not present at the time of the incident. Sale and consumption of liquor is banned in Anandpur Sahib.
